The History of Inspired with Amanda
In 2017 I was recently divorced and searching for a way to bring in some extra income to my household. Also the thought of retirement scared the dickens out of me. I never want to feel like I need to rely on someone else to support me! I didn’t want my blog to be just a “Directory,” but more a place for women to be inspired to live their best life.
While my “college degree” is in Marketing, over the years the Internet has also provided me with much education and networking opportunities with many experienced and successful women.
This lifestyle blog will be a place to not only find ways to work from home, but inspiration and motivation to help you find your joy and live a fulfilling life.
My Story
I have worked in Marketing since I was 18 yrs old. My first job was in newspaper advertising sales. When I was newly married and digital photography was becoming a “thing” (man I sound old!) I started a hobby of photography which lead to my first side hustle.
Two things about me, I always believe every experience in life can teach you a lesson towards your next endeavor. And, I never rely on one stream of income to support myself. I also believe you should enjoy what you do for a living.
My entire life, even as a child, my interests always revolved around 3 hobbies; writing, photography, and advertising! At The Age Of 9, you could have found me either creating “Jingles” for a business, writing my own “Novels,” or forcing my cousins to pose for my new Polaroid! Fortunately, as an adult, I have been able to make a comfortable living continuing to do all of these activities that I love!
This blog provides an income for me by sharing with my audience people and products that inspire me. I am a firm believer that God can use social media or whatever outlet he chooses to reach people in this day and time.
My goal is to empower women to help them achieve all that they want out of life! You will find multiple ways and advice from myself and other women on how you can make your dreams become a reality.
